Angela Didek
Founder & Dance Instructor

Angela began her dance training at the age of 8 years old in Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and Jazz and performed in numerous shows around the country. At the age of 19 years, Angela secured a Dance Instructor position at UGotDance, Toronto Ontario where she travelled around to different school and childcare centre teaching Dance Curriculum.

Angela then combined her want to make an impact along with her passion by studying Psychology & Dance With Movement Studies BA(Hons) in the UK. This degree gave her knowledge and understanding of how to use dance not only as an art and a means of exercise, but as a tool to instill confidence and well being in those in her classes.

In the Summer of 2018, both Angela and Lisa completed their Associate Exams in Freestyle with the IDTA, passing with distinctions and resulting in a higher level of training and opportunities for their students.

Angela initially started Dance It Out to provide dance classes to children and adults in her hometown, but her passion. along with support from friends and family, encouraged the growth of Dance It Out Ireland.

Lisa Hogan, Managing Co-Ordinator & Dance Instructor

Lisa always had a love of dance, growing up dancing with family and friends only made her passion grow stronger. During her time in school she took part in many school shows such as “Oliver”, “Honk” and “Grease”. As well as school shows she also joined the instep stage school in 2007.

After school Lisa progressed to the university of limerick to further her studies by doing the BA in Voice and dance. The focus in Limerick was mainly on contemporary dance, this gave her an extensive knowledge of this style. Through her time in limerick she found the Pantomime society and became their choreographer since 2014.

Once Lisa graduated, she moved to Dublin to continue her studies attending the College of Dance training in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Tap full time. Using her knowledge of dance styles has opened opportunities to choreograph for musicals such as “Mamma Mia” and apply for dance projects like “Step Up”. She has worked with leading choreographers in Ireland allowing her to tour around Ireland performing a piece by Lea Anderson called “Snapshots” choreography based on the artwork of Andy Warhal. This project also gave the opportunity to work with David Bolger of Cois Ceim dance company and learn and perform his piece “something old something new”

Lisa is delighted to be able to bring her dance skills and knowledge to her students at Dance it Out Ireland through after school classes, school programmes and camps. She is always wanting to upskill and has taken her exams in IDTA achieving a Distinction. This allows her to offer her dance students a chance to do their exams and progress in their training.
